Hello! My name is Ms. Stephanie Brandt. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Education in both Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. In December 2013, I earned my Master's Degree in Elementary Administration from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri.
I grew up in Central Missouri and was fortunate enough to have five older siblings and wonderful parents to support me throughout my life. As an aunt to thirteen nieces and nephews, I believe my passion and inspiration for teaching was established at a young age through the opportunities to care for the "babies" in my family in my role as Aunt. After graduating from college, I taught in Jefferson City for two years as a first grade teacher, and now I am in my third year of teaching first grade in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
I believe the foundation for learning is established early on in a child's life, and the most important aspect of a child's education is to help him or her grow and succeed in ways that are meaningful to him or her.
